I cannot run binary project w/o seeing a source code for security reasons, but I remember similar thread about pushing war files to OpenShift https://community.jboss.org/thread/229925?tstart=0 here. Does that help?

I tried to deploy the vaading demo application as a war and things went perfectly fine for me.
